Serenity Farm - aka 3 Tunnels 2 Hell review

Director: James Becket. Writer: Sean Gannon, Stars: Sean Dryke, Shawna WelshJake Arzola

The plot, an abandoned island in the Pacific northwest with a big farm is visited by unsuspecting farm helpers. A hidden evil lurks and soon will claim some victims.

Not the best acting but, good enough to keep me watching. Some cheap digital effects. The scenes jump around a bit to much. There is a scene with two escaped convicts right in the beginning that did not make to much sense to me. Apparently they are on the island and run into a metal bunker where one of them gets amputated by an unseen creature. Soon after that is when the film begins introducing its main characters. The dialog between actors is novice, to fast and without any real emotion.

The camp scenes remind me of good old Friday The Thirteen. A couple runs of and finds the metal bunker. The girl goes in and sees a dog eating some severed meat. The funny thing about this scene is how the dog barking does not match up at all with the dog itself. More cheap digital effects.

I think there is way to much time spent showing these people interacting and doing chores around the farm. Some are killed in the surrounding parts and eventually the main characters end up getting picked off inside the metal bunker.

Conclusion, decent cinematic scenes, bad acting, digital effects could be better. Some of the bloody scenes were enjoyable. Don't expect to be scared. The creature at the end is anticlimactic.
