A brief history and walk thru at night, plus photographic anomalies captured. A place with a reputation for haunting but, its true history is more scary and terrifying than any paranormal lore. The Robinson Family burial grounds.

Many people have reported on strange activity at this location (East River Rd. and W. Lawrence ave.) This is short segment, an investigation to see if I could capture any activity. The beginning is a brief summary on its history followed by on field footage, plus photo analysis at the end of the video.

I decided to do a video due to having a run-in with two gentlemen. As you know I have filmed several videos in the past hiking through the woods, and I have been to these woods. A couple of days ago I ran into two individuals hiking through and they were they were taking pictures during the daytime on the trail East River Road and Lawrence, Norridge IL.They walked up to me, I was just walking around looking for something worth filming. They were taking pictures with their cell phones and in one particular picture there seemed to be a figure made up of smoke. They were proclaiming it to be a ghost
he said he had called out and he had captured something and if I knew about the fact that these particular woods were haunted. I recalled during my youth hanging out with friends and hearing about strange paranormal activity happening in these woods. I decided that I needed to do my own investigation.
Before we get started and I show you my footage and my pictures. I just want to give you a little bit of information on this location. This plot of land is where Alexander Robinson and his family is buried. He was chief of the Potawatomi, Chippewa and Ottawa nation Indians. Robinson was given this large tract of land later to be named Robinson woods and deep appreciation for consistent received friendly services to American and their influences on loyal intermediaries with the Indians before, during and after for the Fort Dearborn massacre, I know there's quite a bit of history on this, and I encourage you to
do your own research? and find out about this location. One of the incidents, it's the fact that their family home had burnt down. Mrs. Robinson died in August 7 1860, twelve years before her husband in 1872. The last Robinson lived on the property until their farm burned down to the ground in 1955. The firemen rescued a woman 89, granddaughter of Robinson, her son Herbert 53 and a friend, Tony Bistree 48. Even after the Forest preserve service bought the property, provisions were made for the Robinson descendants to occupy house and about an acre of land rent-free for life. This fire however brought the Robinson occupancy to an end.
The second incident, less than five months later on October 16th the bodies of John and Anthony Schuller and Robert Peterson age 13, 11 and 14 were discovered in a ditch at the border in the parking lot in Robinson woods about 100 feet of the Des Plaines River south of Lawrence Ave.
All three had been strangled and the boys had been beaten on the head with a revolver or tire iron. They were completely naked at the time they were discovered. The case went unsolved and in August of 1994, Kenneth J. Henson age 61 was charged with the murders of the three boys, which he committed when he was 22 and he was sentenced to 300 years to die in prison. That is the big incident that many people say is the catalyst for ghost and paranormal activity. That's a brief explanation and I encourage you to do your own research. Let's get into my footage and I'll try to explain what is happening and
what you are looking at.
Right now, I am headed to the haunted forest and it has a reputation for paranormal activity. What prompted me to go, was that I ran into some people earlier in the day that claimed to have captured an apparition on their cell phone. I can't say that it was or was not . Since Halloween is nearby, I though it would be cool to do my own investigation. A little bit of background story on this place. Its actually Indian burial ground but to be more specific, it is the resting place of the Robinson family. I'm walking over there right now, I'm almost two blocks away and I have my dslr and I will attempt to do some long exposure photography. Let's see if I can capture anything.
When I was a teenager I heard stories about this area, I can't say I had any personal experiences, I just use to hang out there and party. This is cool, to be taking my camera and doing some photos, if I don't capture any paranormal stuff at least you'll have some
long exposure pictures to look at. There's the entrance, I see some deer I don't think there is any people in there. Okay, so now I'm sitting at the spot where I just took several photographs, I'm going to check to see if I captured anything. Sitting here, I heard a few noises, there could be people in here plus raccoons and deers. I'm going to edit the pictures so you can have a look for yourself. In that direction is were the family is buried.
You just watched the footage of me heading to visit the place. I took 19 pictures, I'll put up a few random ones. There's only only four with anomalies and two were really strange to me.
